The Rochester Rowing Club's Competitive Team recently competed at the prestigious Head of the Schuylkill in Philadelphia, facing fierce competition from the East Coast.  RRC took 3rd place in the Junior Men's Novice Double, finishing in a time of 16 minutes and 58 seconds, in a field of 19 boats.

In the Junior Women's Varsity Double, RRC took 13th place out of 31 boats.  RRC also took 14th place in a field of 27 boats in the Junior Men's Varsity Quad.   RRC took 19th out of 37 in the Junior Women's JV Double.  RRC got 38th place in a field of 44 boats in the Junior Men's Varsity Double.

The Head of the Schuylkill was a great chance for our junior rowers to take on a new challenge and race against some of the top teams in the country.  RRC was also featured on the local tv news.  Way to go, Competitive Team!
